Say something.
Bug reports, a look you would like added, a stock you want emulated, or a correction to something written in the journal — all welcome.
This is the contact address for the Halation project, including editor support, article corrections and privacy questions. Include the page address if your message concerns something on the site.
What is useful in a bug report
- Your browser and version, operating system, and whether you are on desktop or mobile.
- The file type, file size and dimensions. For video, include duration, codec if known, and whether it is HDR.
- The selected preset, changed controls, and the steps that led to the problem.
- What you expected, what happened, and the exact error message. For export problems, include the chosen output size and quality.
- Whether the same problem occurs with a built-in sample or a short test clip.
Start with those details rather than attaching the original photo or video. If a screenshot helps, crop out private content. Media you choose to email is shared through your email service; it is not covered by the editor's local-processing behaviour. See the privacy policy for support correspondence.
Guides and corrections
The photo guide lists supported inputs and JPEG export limits. The video guide covers browser support, HDR limits and export settings. If a guide or Journal article is wrong, send the page address, the passage and a supporting source or reproducible example. The editorial standards describe how corrections are checked.
